Time for another update on how TD Bank CD rates are doing. The last time we looked at TD CD rates, they were definitely worth considering.

Minimum deposits are still $500, so we here at Bank Rates Info started at that point and began digging for pure TD Bank certificate of deposit rates.

Terms still range from 3 months to 5 years, with rates looking pretty good for localized banking like TD Bank rates. Three month term give a 0.50% annual percentage yield (APY) while 6, 7, and 8 month terms give 1.00% APY.

The 9 month TD Bank CD rates terms are 1.50% APY as a current special offer. One year to 16 months give 1.25% APY and 18 months to 2 years give 1.75% APY.

Good TD certificate of deposit rates are available for 3 year terms at 2.25% APY and four years at 2.75% APY. TD Bank rates for 5 year terms are 3.00% APY.

These TD Bank CD rates are definitely worth looking over and considering. If any of these TD Bank certificate of deposit rates appeal to you, know that these TD Bank rates change often, so lock yours in now.

We haven’t updated you on TD certificate of deposit rates in a month or so and a lot has changed in the market since then. So we here at Bank Rates Info wanted to let you know what the latest TD CD rates are now.

Right now, TD certificate of deposit rates require only a $500 minimum deposit to open and are in terms from 3 months to 5 years with some very competitive yields. So it’s definitely worth looking at current TD Bank CD rates right now.

For a 3 month term, the annual percentage yield (APY) is 0.80% and for six months that jumps to 1.25% APY. That yield holds for 7, 8, 12, 13, and 16 month terms. Special 9 month TD certificate of deposit rates are available at 1.80% APY, however.

For 18 months, the current TD Bank certificate of deposit rates are 2.05% APY as a special compared to the 2 year rate of 2.0% APY. For 3 eyars, the TD Bank CD rates are 2.5% APY and for four years the TD CD rates are 3.0% APY. For five years, the TD Bank rates are 3.25% APY right now.

We felt that these TD certificate of deposit rates were well worth looking into and think you’ll be interested in seeing them. TD Bank CD rates change frequently, so make sure you know the latest TD Bank rates before you invest. All TD Bank accounts are FDIC insured. Those two promotional rates at 9 and 18 months are definitely worth a look.

TD CD Rates

Post from: Bank Rates Info

While looking at TD Bank rates and offers, we here at Bank Rates Info had to look at TD CD rates, of course. TD Bank rates differ by branch, so TD BankNorth is not the same as TD Bank or TD Ameritrade. Only TD Bank, which we’re reviewing here, is FDIC insured as a bank in the USA.

TD Bank CD rates vary by term, but accounts require only $500 to open and start at 3 months. CD rates at TD Bank are 1.0% annual percentage yield (APY) for a three month term while six months nets a solid 2.0% APY (as incentive). Up to 13 months pays only 1.5% to 1.75% while 13 months pays out an APY of 2.25%.

Sixteen and 18 month terms have TD CD rates of 1.75% and two years gives 2.0% APY. TD Bank CD rates go up to 3.5% on a five year term. The rates bounce considerably from one term to the next on the tier due to TD CD rates being optimized for specific investor types and the bank’s own goals.

Like most banks right now, TD Bank rates are fluctuating to keep up with the market as well as give incentive for new cash influxes from customers. This means that many TD CD rates are rising in specific term lengths according to market demand. Expect these special promotional rates for six and thirteen month terms to change quickly.

As with all TD Bank CD rates, make sure you look to see the latest information before you lock in. For the short term investor, we think that TD Bank rates are definitely worth looking at.
